Yernar Nurgaliev is a director of films and music videos from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Sweetie, You Won't Believe It is Yernar's third film, and it just had its Texas premiere at Fantastic Fest. The film mixes comedy, drama, thriller, and horror into a bloody good genre hybrid that is hilariously entertaining watch. We had the privilege of chatting with Yernar, along with his translator Aizada, about the film, its origins, and much much more!
