During the dawn of Viddy Well, we asked each interested contributor to fill out the same questionnaire. The questions spanned from grave to goofy, but the replies were nearly always unexpected. This week we'll take a look at the following question:

What film are you most excited about in 2018?

Brenda Torres:

Right now, Annihilation 'cause you know I'm about that weird sci-fi!

Blake Haughton:

Ooh, I'm so hyped for Black Panther. Ugh, it needs to be here sooner. I'm really excited for a hero character that's not the standard in Hollywood (and here's to hoping it keeps up to the same level of awesome that Wonder Woman did).

Anthony Cleveland:

Isle of Dogs. Anderson never really disappoints. He's still essentially making the same film every time, but I think his themes are maturing and are becoming more reflective. Looking forward to see this — animation looks amazing.

Julia Stecyk:

Deadpool 2 or Avengers: Infinity War...MCU just can't fail.

Aaron Haughton:

There are a lot of things I'm curious to see, but very few things that I'm excited about. I'd have to say out of everything, I'm excited for Harmony Korine's stoner comedy, The Beach Bum, with Matthew McConaughey, and potentially his other feature (that's been talked about for a long time), The Trap, which he described as a highly violent revenge film. The Beach Bum is for sure coming to us next year, but The Trap is a bit more of an enigma. Either way, I'll be happy, but if I could have a year with 2 Korine films, I'd be a pretty happy camper.
